The seas and rivers of the Old World are of vital importance to humanity - something they are willing to wage brutal war to protect and solidify control of. The sea is also a grave threat to its would-be conquerors, spewing forth monsters as if to test their resolve. Meanwhile, the rivers that grip far into the heart of the mainland hide ancient treasures and unspeakable secrets. It takes a special kind of person to dedicate themselves to such a capricious and mysterious realm.

There exist a myriad of boats across the massive breadth of mankind’s reach in the Old World, each with its own motivations and concerns. From the towering Man ‘O Wars of legend to the humble flat bottomed barges of the inner empire, all have a story behind them, and all are crewed by individuals with hopes, dreams, and secrets.

Here is a collection of unique vessels and their accompanying captains for you to place into your own game as friends, foes, or simple co-inhabitants of a cruel and dangerous world. The start of each section will also have a smaller write-up by me expanding on one element or another relating to the faction! They may or may not be related to the boats themselves, as I’m just putting in as much information as I think is interesting. Hopefully some of these ideas give you content for your own versions of the warhammer world!

Included are

  1.  Twelve ship profiles and multiple unique upgrades to bring magic and delicious food to your barge!
  2. Two brand new careers - the intrepid and fearless Exterminator-Priest and the worldly Cat Herder!
  3. A whole new god of the seas, Orange Schatz! Patron of boat cats and protector of cargo, this lesser god provides great power to those few who serve him.
  4. Detailed descriptions of various ports around the old world.
  5. Much, much more!
